Tissilli Rogers
Tissilli Rogers has dedicated her life to the betterment of others, utilizing her acquired knowledge and years of experience to empower hundreds. She is a walking monument of success, devoted to the advancement of mental and physical health on a global scale. After successfully branding TissFit, a marketable platform encouraging fitness and nutritional eating, Rogers has garnered a following equal to that of a small corporation. The TissFit brand reaches over half a million fans, supporters, and contributors through social media alone. As her numbers continue to grow in devotees,Rogers’s credibility within the fitness community reaches astronomical levels.
She has been approached by competing companies to market their product given the influence she has developed across several demographics. But Rogers is determined to acquire a level of success on her own accord, while maintaining the original vision and key values she began with. Tissilli Rogers believes in complete transformation; a transformation that requires more than a nutritional guide and a workout regimen. Her idea of a revolutionary makeover requires a full understanding of self, an understanding of future self, and a complete conceptualization of mental and spiritual awareness. She is not only concerned about the exterior, but the self-esteem and mental stability of each of her clients, financial partners, comrades, and associates. Tissilli Rogers aims to transform the lives of those wanting to discover new ways of living. She specifically caters to underserved persons who are unable to grasp the idea of change due to lack of education, preparation, financial stability and/or guidance.
Rogers owes much of her success to her athletic accomplishments during her adolescent years. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, she ran competitively for Marietta High School. During her ninth grade year she held the title for fastest-ever ninth grade female. This victory alone established a level of confidence within Tissilli that would propel her to reach both athletic and academic heights. After graduating from Marietta High she would continue her scholastic journey at the University of Alabama on a full athletic scholarship. She worked diligently to attain her Associates of Arts in Education and in 2006, she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Minor in Sociology from Jacksonville, University. Immediately following her collegiate graduation Tissilli traveled to Clermont, Florida. Her decision to relocate was not in hopes of a fulfilling vacation. Underneath the Florida sun she trained full time as a USA Track and Field Olympic hopeful alongside gold medalist Dennis Mitchell. She trained for two years to compete in the 2008 Olympic trials while simultaneously working as a personal trainer.
Her dream of entering into the 2008 Olympics was derailed after a debilitating hamstring injury. Tissilli admits that with rehabilitation she could have continued to compete as planned. But the occurrence of her injury allowed her to view her life from a different perspective. Her sole purpose was not to be an Olympic runner, but to use her athletic ability to change the world around her.
